Brownie cookies

fudgy and rich 
perfect for chocolate lovers

Yield 20 Cookies



  • 2/3 cup flour

  • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar 

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips




  1. Preheat over to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in a bowl

  3. Place 8oz of chocolate and butter in a double boiler. Slowly melt, stirring occasionally until smooth. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

  4. Whisk together eggs, sugars and vanilla on medium speed for 5 minutes. Reduce speed to low and mix in melted chocolate for 1 minute. Mix in flour mixture just until combined, fold in 1/2  cup chocolate chips with a spatula.

  5. Use a cookie scoop or a tablespoon to form cookies, spacing cookies 3 inches apart. Bake for 12 - 14 minutes. Until tops are shiny and cracked.

  6. Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
